I’ve been looking for places online to serve as examples of where Christians can read stories from everyday people integrating their faith into their workplace, the community, and impacting the culture of the world we live in today.
I appreciate the articles and stories shared by The High Calling. At http://www.thehighcalling.org/ you can find stories about Christians who are actively engaged in helping other Christians address some of the most challenges issues we face today relating to faith and culture.
The site is filled with articles on faith in the workplace, market place ministry ideas, Christian parenting and dealing with difficult family issues by applying a Christian worldview and understanding how scripture applies to our lives.
Worldviews are important aspects of our faith and ultimately shape our entire culture. Websites with articles like those found on The High Calling can be a valuable resource in shaping biblical worldviews and a biblical approach to life’s challenges and opportunities.
The site pulls together articles from authors that are well known already in Christian leadership and publishing but also brings in fresh, new voices to share inspired stories on such topics as faith, grace, and forgiveness. Articles can also be found about spiritual formation, growing in your relationship with God, and applying spiritual disciplines.
Overall, I look to The High Calling to provide solid biblically based stories that I know many of the people I coach can relate to. This site has become a valuable resource to me as I work with pastors, non-profit ministry leaders, and Christian business people.
